Details of the Job/Internship
Rubrik is hiring a Legal Associate to support various functions within its legal department.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the legal team with corporate governance tasks, including required filings, board/shareholder matters, and equity-related projects.
- Provide support for corporate transactions, including M&A, financings, and capital market transactions.
- Help build and maintain internal legal processes and programs to ensure legal compliance.
- Manage and organize corporate and compliance tasks and workstreams. Implement and maintain legal technology platforms and tools, including AI tools.
Eligibility
- Legal degree and familiarity with legal concepts and terminology.
- Experience working at a reputable technology company preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
- Passionate about legal technology, data security, and artificial intelligence.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with different teams. Receptive to coaching and feedback.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office programs and Google Suite.
