Details of the Job/Internship

Salot & Shah Associates is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Associate with 1 to 3 years of experience to join them at their office in Ahmedabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to the company on a range of legal matters, including contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to identify and evaluate legal risks and opportunities for the company.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
• Work closely with clients to ensure compliance with all relevant legal and contractual requirements to minimize risk exposure for the company.
• Review contractual arrangements, conduct risk assessment for such arrangements and support project and various concerns teams in addressing and mitigating risks that may arise.
• Support in contract negotiation and drafting contractual letters
• Supporting external legal counsel in managing legal disputes, including legal proceedings, concerning the company.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide guidance to the company on any necessary changes to policies and procedures.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• Strong knowledge of commercial law and contract law.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent skills in reviewing and drafting contracts and other legal documents.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
