Details of the Job/Internship
Salot & Shah Associates is hiring a Legal Associate with 0-2 years of experience in non-litigation work to join their office in Ahmedabad. The role may require frequent travel to Gurugram. Immediate joiners are preferred.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on matters including contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to identify and evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
- Work with clients to ensure compliance with relevant legal and contractual requirements.
- Review contractual arrangements, conduct risk assessments, and support teams in addressing and mitigating risks.
- Assist in contract negotiation and drafting contractual letters.
- Support external counsel in managing legal disputes and proceedings.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and guide policy or procedural changes.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law and contract law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reviewing and drafting contracts and other legal documents.
