Details of the Job/Internship

SAM Corporate is hiring a Legal Associate with 3 years of experience to join their office in Kochi. The candidate will be responsible for supporting legal and operational functions, preparing and reviewing legal documents, managing contract workflows, and ensuring compliance across departments.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and edit contracts and other legal documents.
• Maintain accurate records of contract status, including follow-ups, signatures, and storage.
• Generate monthly reports on contract activity and status updates.
• Liaise with internal departments such as finance, procurement, and operations to ensure alignment on contract terms.
• Track key contract milestones, renewals, and expiration dates to ensure timely actions.
• Ensure all contracts comply with internal policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update the asset register, including both physical and software assets.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in contract administration or documentation roles.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience in a compliance-driven environment is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary/Stipend
