The firm works with founders, funds, and family offices on investment structuring, fund formation, portfolio transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate commercial advisory, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Details of the Job/Internship
Sarvaank Associates is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 1–3 years to join their office in New Delhi. The role involves drafting and reviewing investment documents, conducting legal research, assisting in due diligence and transaction structuring, and providing advisory support on private equity, venture capital, M&A, and regulatory compliance matters, while engaging directly with clients.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review investment documents, shareholder agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Conduct legal research on corporate, regulatory, and data privacy frameworks.
- Assist in due diligence, transaction structuring, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide advisory support on private equity, venture capital, fund-related matters, and M&A transactions.
- Manage client communications and deliver strategic legal solutions.
- Handle matters relating to the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations, and general corporate-commercial laws.
- Work on cap tables, ESOPs, and fund investment related matters.
Eligibility
LL.B. from a recognised law school; LL.M. or specialisation in corporate/commercial law is an advantage; prior law firm experience required.
