It is common knowledge that in India if you default on your loan repayments, you get hounded by recovery agents and life becomes miserable, in spite of several Supreme Court judgments against the use of strong-arm tactics in recovery.
Details of the Job/Internship
Settle Loan is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with experience of 0-1 years to join their Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Business Development and Signing up New Clients: You will be given contact details of potential clients who have expressed interest through detailed forms with all relevant details. You will need to negotiate an engagement letter and sign up the potential clients. You will be provided proper training on the Company's platform and products, which can be used to convince clients about our legal and financial advisory services.
- Legal Drafting: Well-drafted documents such as contracts, pleadings and legal opinions - ensure that the respective intentions, rights and obligations of parties involved in any proceedings, negotiations or contracts are accurately reflected.
- Legal Advisory: Drafting basic legal documents, notices, etc. Ability to provide consistent and technically superior legal advice and solutions. Approaching client matters strategically to meet client needs (not just requests). Maintaining relationships with existing clients.
Eligibility
Graduate in the field of Law (LLB, LLM, BA.LLB, BBA.LLB, and BCom. LLB).
