The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, of 2013 has created a comprehensive preventive and redressal system for dealing with the challenging issue of sexual harassment. The Sexual Harassment Act has imposed several obligations on an employer such as the duty to constitute an ICC, the duty to train the ICC, the duty to conduct awareness and sensitization workshops for its employees, and to create a sexual harassment policy, all of which falls under the bracket of POSH solutions.
Details of the Job/Internship
SHLC-Sexual Harassment Law Compliance Advisory is hiring a Legal Associate to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance to organizations on all aspects of POSH compliance, including the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating POSH policies to ensure alignment with legal mandates, industry best practices, and workplace requirements.
- Assist in documenting inquiry proceedings, and preparing comprehensive investigation reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
- Develop and facilitate POSH training sessions for employees, IC members, and leadership teams in collaboration with our existing experienced trainers.
- Stay up to date with legislative changes, court rulings, and regulatory developments in POSH laws and advise clients accordingly to ensure continued compliance.
- Conduct legal research on emerging trends, case law, and global best practices in workplace harassment laws to support advisory functions.
