Details of the Job/Internship
Simon and Josephine is hiring a Senior Legal Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join their office in Panchkula.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Draft legal documents including briefs, motions, pleadings, and contracts.
- Assist in case management, evidence organisation, and deadline tracking.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates.
- Represent clients in court or administrative hearings when required.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and authorities.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies and complex legal issues.
- Maintain records, calendars, and perform administrative support tasks.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a recognised law school or college.
- 2–5 years of experience in litigation, documentation, or similar legal roles preferred.
- Strong analytical and legal research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
