SJ & Company is hiring Legal Associates for practice-track based recruitment to join their Mumbai office. The role is available on a full-time, retainership, or panel advocate basis. The position is intended for mid-senior to senior level professionals with independent handling capability. Applicants must apply under one defined practice track reflecting their core expertise. The role requires advising, consulting, drafting, and arguing matters independently with minimal supervision.

Role and Responsibilities

• Independent legal advisory and consulting.
• Drafting pleadings, opinions, agreements, and applications.
• Court and tribunal appearances.
• Strategy development for complex legal matters.
• Client interaction and matter management.

Eligibility

• Mid-senior to senior level legal professionals.
• Independent handling experience expected.
• Applicants must choose one primary practice track.
• Ability to advise, draft, and argue matters independently.

Salary/Stipend
