Details of the Job/Internship
Skyroot Aerospace is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Associate.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review customer agreements (experience in the space sector is highly advantageous).
- Draft and vet vendor agreements, including those related to procurement, logistics, and services.
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs):
- Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs with external stakeholders.
- Understand and interpret space laws, working closely with space authorities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Oversee timely filing of statutory returns.
- Conduct and manage legal due diligence for various business transactions.
- Assist with company secretarial duties and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent). A Master’s degree in Law (LLM) would be an added advantage.
- 3+ years of experience in legal drafting and compliance. Experience in the space sector is a plus.
- Strong understanding of contract law and statutory compliance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with space law, environmental regulations, and labour laws is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
