Details of the Job/Internship

Skyroot Aerospace is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with experience of 3+ years in legal drafting and compliance to join their Hyderabad office. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. Drafting and Vetting of Agreements: 
2. Draft and review customer agreements (experience in the space sector is highly advantageous). 
3. Draft and vet vendor agreements, including those related to procurement, logistics, and services. 
4. Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs with external stakeholders. 
5. Understand and interpret space laws, working closely with space authorities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. 
6. Ensure compliance with various statutory requirements, including but not limited to: 
7. Factories Act 
8. Environmental Acts 
9. Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) 
10. Labour Laws 
11. Oversee timely filing of statutory returns. 
12. Conduct and manage legal due diligence for various business transactions. 
13. Assist with company secretarial duties and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements. 

Eligibility

1. Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent). A Master’s degree in Law (LLM) would be an added advantage. 
2. 3+ years of experience in legal drafting and compliance. Experience in the space sector is a plus. 
3. Strong understanding of contract law and statutory compliance. 
4. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. 
5. Familiarity with space law, environmental regulations, and labor laws is desirable. 
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
7. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
