Details of the Job/Internship

Skyroot Aerospace is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 3+ years to join their office in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting and Vetting of Agreements:  Draft and review customer agreements (experience in the space sector is highly advantageous). 
• Draft and vet vendor agreements, including those related to procurement, logistics, and services. 
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs with external stakeholders. 
• Understand and interpret space laws, working closely with space authorities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. 
• Ensure compliance with various statutory requirements, including but not limited to:  Factories Act , Environmental Acts , Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO)  Labour Laws .
• Oversee timely filing of statutory returns. .
• Conduct and manage legal due diligence for various business transactions. 
• Assist with company secretarial duties and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements. 

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent). A Master’s degree in Law (LLM) would be an added advantage. 
• 3+ years of experience in legal drafting and compliance. Experience in the space sector is a plus. 
• Strong understanding of contract law and statutory compliance. 
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. 
• Familiarity with space law, environmental regulations, and labor laws is desirable. 
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
