Details of the Job/Internship
Snapmint is hiring an Associate – Legal (Fintech, Commercial and Regulatory Affairs) with 1–4 years of post-qualification experience to join their legal and regulatory team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts including service, partnership, and financing agreements.
- Research fintech, NBFC, data protection, and consumer lending laws.
- Manage regulatory filings, audits, and engagement with authorities such as RBI and MCA.
- Oversee legal risk management in lending, marketing, and data usage.
- Collaborate with external counsel on litigation and regulatory opinions.
- Prepare internal training and monitor legal and regulatory updates.
- Support policy formulation and compliance programs.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a reputed Indian university.
- 1–4 years of post-qualification experience in law firms or in-house legal teams, preferably in fintech, NBFCs, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory advisory, commercial contracts, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
