Details of the Job/Internship

SRK Legal is hiring a Junior Legal Associate with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role with a primary focus on criminal law matters, involving litigation support, legal research, drafting, and court appearances before the Supreme Court of India, the Bombay High Court, and other High Courts across India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting in extensive legal research, drafting, and litigation support for criminal law matters.
• Preparing case briefs, petitions, affidavits, and legal opinions related to criminal proceedings.
• Attending court hearings before the Supreme Court of India, the Bombay High Court, and other High Courts.
• Coordinating with clients and ensuring procedural compliance.
• Supporting litigation strategy under the guidance of senior counsel.

Eligibility

• 2–3 years of post-qualification experience, specifically in handling criminal law cases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised university.
• Bar Council registration to practise law in India is mandatory.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Indian law and judicial procedures.
• Proficiency in legal drafting, research, and documentation.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in English and Marathi.
• Candidate should be residing in Mumbai or other parts of Maharashtra.
