Stable Broking Private Limited is a licensed stock broker with SEBI and is a licensed online bond platform (“OBP”) with SEBI. As a member of the Compliance Team at Stable Broking, you will support the Chief Compliance Officer and be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all applicable SEBI & AMFI’s laws and regulations, and industry standards related to stock broking operations. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure the smooth operation of the business.

Stable Broking Private Limited is hiring a legal associate to join them in Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contract Review and Management: Drafting, review and analysis of commercial contracts.
- Standardized Contract Playbook Development: Develop and maintain a standardized contract playbook, including templates, guidelines, and best practices, to streamline the contract drafting and negotiation process. Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent application of standardized terms and conditions.
- Cross-functional advisory: Work closely with HR, Finance, and Operations Team to advise on legal matters, and develop company policies.
- Legal Research and Compliance: Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on various matters related to commercial contracts, employment law, and regulatory compliance to mitigate risks.
- Product Legal Advisory:
- Advising business teams and the product team on the existing fixed deposit investment platform product, and new products, including simplification of legal documents.
- Providing advice to the business teams on the regulatory environments relevant to the financial sector and help navigate impact to the existing fixed deposit investment platform product, and new products;
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Investment Transactions: legal due diligence and negotiation for M&A and investment transactions, ensuring comprehensive risk assessment and legal compliance.
Eligibility
- B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)/ J.D/ equivalent law degree from a recognized institution;
- 1-2 years of PQE. Prior experience in financial services is good to have but not mandatory for this role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Keen interest to work in a fast-paced environment, and learning mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
