Details of the Job/Internship
Stockal is hiring a legal associate to join them in Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and related legal documentation.
- Prepare, review, and ensure compliance with disclosures, disclaimers, and other regulatory documents.
- Conduct detailed legal research and provide strategic advice based on findings.
- Update and enhance company compliance policies and procedures to align with evolving regulations.
- Develop and maintain corporate governance policies and procedures.
- Establish and manage a centralized repository of legal and compliance documents.
Eligibility
- Strong knowledge of banking and financial services laws and regulations across jurisdictions, including India, USA, UAE/MENA, and global frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience and understanding of SEBI regulations.
- Expertise in RBI guidelines and compliance standards.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and presentational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver timely results.
- Proficient in clear, concise, and precise legal communication, ensuring all written materials are relevant and impactful.
