Details of the Job/Internship

Sun Pharma is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 4 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting domestic Trademark Searches and sharing opinion to the stakeholders.
• Online filing of trademark applications (wherever we can file Inhouse) 
• Scrutiny of Bills/ Invoices and Expenses management 
• Communication with Local attorneys and Stake holders 
• Briefing / coordinating external Counsels/ Attorney’s globally 
• Drafting cease and desist letters, settlement agreements, and other legal correspondence 
• Screening of Trademark Journals, various database, online portals for checking conflicting trademarks (domestic) 
• Managing case files and maintaining detailed records of all case-related activities 
• Conduct detailed legal research and analyse complex legal issues 
• Develop strategies for effective Litigation management and risk mitigation 
• Attending personal hearings before Trademark and Registrar of Companies and 
• Preparing and updating case summaries, Record keeping and database management and other duties, as assigned 
• Travelling within and out of Mumbai for trademark related works 
•  Knowledge of overseas trademark (good to have)

Eligibility

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in domestic trademark.
• Education: Graduate in B.A or B Com, LLB.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
