Details of the Job/Internship
Surana & Surana International Attorneys India is looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience to help lead and mentor their team, manage complex real estate transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Title Due Diligence & Verification: Conduct thorough due diligence and verification of property titles.
- Real Estate Transactions: Handle legal work for purchase, sale, lease licenses, joint development agreements, etc.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, agreements, power of attorneys, and other commercial documents for developers, large property owners, and individuals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Advise and assist clients on RERA and FEMA regulatory compliances related to real estate transactions.
- Document Registration: Assist in the registration of documents at the Sub-Registrar’s Office, including dry runs, generation of online tokens, and retrieval of documents post-registration.
- Documentation & Research: Prepare documentation, conduct research, and create presentations.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of junior lawyers.
- Client Advisory: Advise on the structuring of real estate transactions and meet with existing and prospective clients.
- Government Liaison: Visit relevant government offices to obtain documents and resolve issues.
- Client Meetings: Attend and facilitate client meetings.
- Knowledge Dissemination: Engage in knowledge development initiatives, including writing articles, giving speeches, attending meetings/conferences/webinars, and following up with new contacts, ensuring the firm’s name is prominently featured.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in handling complex real estate transactions and regulatory compliance.
Eligibility
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience to help lead and mentor their team, manage complex real estate transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Salary/Stipend
