The Lawgical Professionals – Advocates & Solicitors is hiring a Legal Associate with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join its full-time, on-site team in Kolkata, West Bengal.
The role involves legal research, drafting, case management, court assistance, and hands-on exposure to matters before the Calcutta High Court and subordinate courts, along with assisting senior attorneys in handling diverse legal matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and legal analysis.
- Provide legal advice and assist in case preparation.
- Assist in court proceedings and provide court-related support.
- Manage cases and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on legal matters.
Eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- AIBE cleared.
- LL.B. degree from an accredited law school.
- Enrollment with the State Bar Council required.
- Proficiency in legal research, case analysis, and document drafting.
- Strong understanding of compliance, legal procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent writing, reviewing, and editing skills for legal documentation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in a legal environment preferred.
