Details of the Job/Internship
The Souled Store is hiring a Legal Associate with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, retail leases, licensing deals, and partnership contracts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable retail and e-commerce laws.
- Advise cross-functional teams on legal aspects of campaigns and operations.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and manage disputes or litigation.
- Stay updated on legal developments affecting the business.
- Develop internal legal processes and documentation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); Bar Council registration preferred.
- 2–3 years of legal experience in the retail, apparel, or e-commerce sector.
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial law, and intellectual property.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and business-savvy.
