Details of the Job/Internship

Ticker is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with 3+ years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

Contract Drafting & Negotiation:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate contracts including commercial agreements, joint ventures, NDAs, and partnership documents.
• Exposure to trademark processing and dispute resolution is a strong plus.

Corporate Governance:

• Assist in preparing board resolutions, meeting minutes, and maintaining statutory records to ensure governance compliance.

Transactional Support:

• Contribute to corporate transactions, including restructurings and strategic business deals—handle due diligence and transaction documentation.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable laws, SEBI regulations, company law, and industry-specific legal standards.

Legal Research & Advisory:

• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare summaries, memos, and legal opinions on corporate and regulatory matters.

Dispute Management:

• Support the handling of corporate disputes—draft pleadings, liaise with external counsel, and prepare litigation briefs when necessary.

Internal Legal Advisory:

• Guide internal departments on legal risks, compliance, business policies, and operational strategies.

Document Management:

• Organize and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date legal records for audit and compliance readiness.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate legal roles.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Prior experience or exposure to trademark management and financial services is preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong command over MS Office and legal research tools.

Salary/Stipend
