Details of the Job/Internship
TLJ Law Offices is hiring a Legal Associate with 0–2 years of experience to join their office in Connaught Place, New Delhi. The role includes conducting legal research, assisting in drafting pleadings and legal documents, attending court hearings, supporting case preparation, and contributing to legal strategies under the guidance of senior associates and partners.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on civil and commercial law, arbitration, taxation, and criminal matters.
- Assist in drafting pleadings, agreements, legal notices, and other documents.
- Attend court hearings and tribunals and support case preparation.
- Assist in client interaction and provide updates on case progress.
- Prepare briefs, case files, and ensure compliance with court procedures and timelines.
- Collaborate on case strategies, review evidence, and suggest legal tactics.
Eligibility
- BALLB, BBALLB, or LLB.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council of Delhi.
- Strong knowledge of civil and commercial laws, arbitration, taxation, and criminal laws.
- Ability to conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with court procedures and client management.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
