Details of the Job/Internship

Toshiba Software (India) Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Associate with prior experience in IT law to join its in-house legal team in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research to support compliance with IT laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including software licensing and vendor agreements.
• Ensure compliance with laws related to data protection, intellectual property, and cybersecurity.
• Assist with dispute resolution, including litigation and arbitration.
• Develop internal policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders on legal matters.
• Conduct legal training on data privacy and intellectual property rights.

Eligibility

• LL.B. is mandatory; LL.M. or IT law specialization preferred.
• Prior experience in IT-related legal roles or a technology law firm.
