Details of the Job/Internship

Toughcons Nirman Pvt. Ltd. hiring for the position of Legal Associate with 1-2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements for project management consultancy and provide legal support.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including development agreements, contractor agreements, consultancy agreements, MOUs, and JV agreements.
• Ensure all project contracts comply with local, state, and federal regulations, coordinating with external solicitors and project legal consultants as needed.
• Advise the project management team on compliance with construction, real estate, and project management laws.
• Identify and mitigate potential legal risks during project execution.
• Manage Deemed Conveyance and Redevelopment Legal Advisory, ensuring statutory documentation, approvals, and third-party matters are in place.
• Maintain and archive legal records, contracts, and licenses with timely renewals.
• Draft Minutes of Meetings, Agendas, and other governance documents.
• Provide support in corporate legal matters including company secretarial work, intellectual property, and employment law compliance.

Eligibility

• Education: LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized law school.
• Total work: 2 years (Required)
• Real estate law: 1 year (Preferred)
• Strong expertise in legal drafting, negotiation, and advisory.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Client-focused approach with effective handling and advisory capabilities.
• Languages: Proficiency in English (mandatory).
