Details of the Job/Internship
Uni Seoul is looking for an aspirational Legal Associate with 1–3 years of experience to join its team in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review a wide array of commercial documents, including vendor agreements, NDAs, influencer contracts, and logistics agreements.
- Manage leasing documentation and execution workflows to support rapid store expansions.
- Provide legal support for retail operations, including mall compliance and store onboarding.
- Maintain comprehensive trackers for compliance deadlines, licenses, and contract renewals.
- Assist in early-stage M&A initiatives, focusing on due diligence and data room management.
- Conduct legal research on Consumer Protection, IP, the Companies Act, and retail regulations.
- Collaborate with the Founders Office, Finance, and Marketing teams to provide legal insights for business decisions.
- Assist in developing internal legal SOPs to strengthen the firm's audit readiness.
Eligibility
- LLB is mandatory; an LLM is preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a corporate law firm or an in-house role (Retail, FMCG, or Consumer Brands preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in Contract Management is a specific requirement.
- Strong drafting skills and a deep interest in applied business law.
- Familiarity with M&A fundamentals is considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical thinking and a detail-driven work style.
- Ability to commute to the Pune office location.
