Details of the Job/Internship

Uni Seoul is hiring a Legal Associate with 1–3 years of experience to join their team in Pune. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review a variety of commercial documents, including vendor agreements, influencer contracts, and NDAs.
• Support retail operations through leasing documentation, renewals, and mall compliance workflows.
• Maintain comprehensive trackers for contracts, compliance deadlines, and statutory licenses.
• Assist in early-stage M&A activities, including due diligence and data room preparation.
• Conduct specialized research on consumer protection, IP, the Companies Act, and retail regulations.
• Build internal legal SOPs to strengthen audit readiness and corporate governance.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Marketing teams to provide legal insights for business decisions.
• Coordinate with external counsel and senior stakeholders on strategic corporate projects.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory; a Master’s degree (LLM) is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in corporate law firms or in-house roles (Retail/FMCG preferred).
• Strong drafting capabilities and a deep interest in applied business law.
• Exposure to M&A fundamentals and corporate project management is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical thinking and a detail-driven work style.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with senior leadership and founders.
