Details of the Job/Internship

Unilever is hiring a Legal Associate in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Governance & Compliance
  • Assist in managing governance frameworks and compliance processes for key suppliers.
  • Support the execution and monitoring of ongoing supplier compliance activities.
  • Assess amendments to standard contractual clauses, flagging deviations and associated risks.
  • Ensure contract templates are regularly reviewed, updated, and aligned with internal policies.
  • Identify inefficiencies in contract management processes and implement enhancements.
• Stakeholder Management
  • Facilitate effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with key functions, including Legal, Procurement, Finance, Digital Marketing, HR, and Data Protection Officers, to drive seamless coordination and compliance.

Eligibility

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation.
• Ability to achieve outcomes by leveraging resources beyond direct control.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision.
• Capability to collaborate with colleagues across multiple time zones and countries.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
