Unilever is hiring a Legal Associate with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in Bangalore. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle, manage, and administer the contract lifecycle for the Greater Asia market.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and provide operational and legal support.
• Maintain accurate records, files, and submit documents to official entities.
• Negotiate contracts with third parties, ensuring Unilever’s interests are safeguarded.
• Ensure adequate schedules are included in supplier contracts and update templates.
• Support governance schedules, compliance activities, and internal documentation.
• Highlight risks and deviations from standard clauses.
• Propose and implement improvements in contract processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including Legal, Procurement, Finance, HR, and Data Privacy teams.

Eligibility

• Professional qualification in Law (LL.B.).
• 1–3 years PQE in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Strong contract negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work across time zones and deliver results through influence.
• Preferred: Experience in a multinational, B2C, or FMCG company.
