Details of the Job/Internship

Unilever is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 3-5 years to join their office in Bangalore Centre. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advisory and perform in-depth legal research and analysis for specific markets.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with third parties using Unilever standard templates or modified third-party templates.
• Execute operational legal tasks, including the submission of documents to official entities and maintaining accurate records.
• Support the management and administration of contracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Drive simplification and innovation in legal services through the use of technology.
• Manage governance schedules and compliance processes for key suppliers.
• Identify deviations and risks in non-standard contract clauses and update internal templates.
• Develop and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, Marketing, and HR.

Eligibility

• Professional qualification in Law.
• PQE of 3-5 years practicing in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Strong contract negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues across multiple time zones and countries.
• Proven attention to detail and a drive for process excellence.
• Preferred: Experience working for a large multinational, B2C, or FMCG business.
