Unimarks Legal Solutions is hiring a Legal Associate to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on intellectual property rights registration and enforcement.
- Draft and review contracts and agreements tailored to meet client needs and firm standards.
- Represent clients in litigation proceedings and advocate for their interests in court.
- Attend client meetings, discussions, and consultations to understand and address their legal requirements.
- Efficiently complete assigned tasks within deadlines, ensuring high-quality work aligned with client and firm expectations.
- Regularly update firm leadership on assignment status, client needs, and potential issues.
- Seek approval from firm leadership before finalizing and delivering work to clients, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Promptly report and address conflicts or issues encountered during client engagements.
Eligibility
- Proven experience in intellectual property law, particularly trademarks, with comprehensive knowledge of trademark processes and regulations.
- Strong advocacy skills with experience representing clients in court proceedings. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective client engagement and internal reporting.
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis to support case preparation and advice.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain organized records.
- Capable of working collaboratively with colleagues and clients to achieve desired outcomes.
