Details of the Job/Internship

Uravu Labs is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements — SHA, SSA, term sheets, NDAs, vendor/service contracts, and board/shareholder resolutions.
• Ensure contracts align with business goals and protect the company’s interests.

Regulatory Compliance

• Monitor and ensure adherence to MCA, RBI, SEBI, labour laws, and other statutory frameworks.
• Provide proactive compliance guidance and best practices.

Due Diligence & Fundraising Support

• Assist in due diligence during funding rounds, partnerships, and strategic transactions.
• Identify legal risks and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

Legal Research & Advisory

• Research laws, regulations, and industry standards to offer practical, business-focused legal advice.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with investors, clients, external counsel, and regulatory authorities.
• Facilitate smooth legal workflows across teams.

Corporate Governance

• Prepare board/shareholder resolutions and maintain statutory registers, minutes, and filings.

Dispute Management

• Support resolution of legal disputes and coordinate with external counsel as needed.

Eligibility

• LLB from a recognized university; LLM preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in corporate law, contracts, compliance, or investment transactions — startup experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of company law, commercial agreements, labour laws, and fundraising compliance.
• Hands-on experience with MCA filings, due diligence, and regulatory interactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend
