Details of the Job/Internship
A US-based law firm is hiring an Immigration Paralegal with experience of 3+ years in US immigration to work remotely on a full-time basis.
Role and Responsibilities
- Report to the immigration program manager.
- Collaborate with the Regional Paralegal Manager and immigration attorneys.
- Manage caseload from intake through processing and filing.
- Prepare applications for permanent residency and secondary benefits.
- Process and file nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions.
- Organize petition packets for review and filing.
- Gather application and petition information from external parties.
- Keep clients informed on case progress.
- Maintain hard copy files and enter data into the immigration case management system.
- Respond to immigration inquiries in a timely manner and adhere to submission deadlines.
Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of experience in US immigration.
- Knowledge of immigration law and legal document preparation.
- Experience in handling immigration issues and visas.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures and requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with attorneys and clients.
- Previous experience in a law firm or legal setting is a plus.
- Must be able to start within 7 days.
