Valu is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 3 to 4 years to join their office in Egypt.
Role and Responsibilities
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal researcho n various topics related to non banking financial institutions with a focus on consumer finance.
- Document Review: Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other pertinent materials in line with the Company's business.
- Drafting: Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and correspondence as needed.
- Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence activities related to consumer finance transactions, including reviewing documentation and identifying potential legal risks.
- Support Legal Team: Provide administrative and operational support to the legal department, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
Eligibility
- BSc degree in Law.
- 3-4 Years of experience.
- Strong understanding of consumer finance laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory bodies such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and regulations.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to articulate legal concepts and provide practical advice to non-legal stakeholders.
