Details of the Job/Internship

ValueLabs is hiring a Legal Associate in Hyderabad, Telangana. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience, preferably in corporate legal functions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Legal Drafting & Review:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and MOUs.
  • Assist in developing standard contract templates and maintaining document records.
• Corporate Compliance:
  • Ensure the organization complies with applicable corporate laws and regulatory frameworks.
  • Assist with company secretarial tasks, including filings, resolutions, and statutory compliance.
• Intellectual Property Management: 
  • Assist in trademark, copyright, and patent filings.
  • Conduct research on IP-related issues and monitor IP portfolio updates.
• Legal Research & Advisory:
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on various legal matters.
  • Provide updates on new legal developments affecting the organization
• Dispute Resolution Support:
  • Assist in handling disputes, litigation, and arbitration cases.
  • Support the legal team in managing external legal counsel
• General Legal Support: 
  • Respond to legal queries from internal teams.
  • Assist in compliance audits and due diligence processes.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); a Master’s degree (LLM) is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in corporate legal functions.
• Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property Laws, Corporate Laws, and Contract Management.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
