Details of the Job/Internship
Vidhikarya is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Associate with 2+ years of experience to join their office in Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and file Original Applications (OAs), Securitization Applications (SAs), Affidavit in Opposition.
- Represent clients in hearings before DRT, DRAT, and other relevant forums.
- Advise clients on enforcement of security interests under the SARFAESI Act.
- Manage timelines for legal notices including possession, demand, and auction notices.
- Coordinate with clients, court staff, and government authorities for smooth handling of recovery cases.
- Conduct legal research and keep up-to-date with changes in banking and recovery laws.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognised university; enrollment with Bar Council.
- 2+ years of experience in handling DRT/DRAT/SARFAESI matters.
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
