Details of the Job/Internship

Vigil Juris is hiring an Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Represent clients in various legal forums and assist senior partners in courtroom advocacy.
• Draft and review diverse legal documents, including pleadings, notices, and applications.
• Conduct extensive legal research on civil, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Manage case files from inception to resolution, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with clients to gather evidence and provide regular status updates.
• Support the firm's expansion by assisting in the development of legal strategies for new mandates.
• Liaison with external consultants, experts, and judicial authorities as required.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional practice.
• Strong understanding of legal procedures and substantive laws in India.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively within a growing team and manage individual portfolios.
