Details of the Job/Internship

Vivriti Asset Management is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 2 to 4 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting of PPM, Contribution Agreement, Trust Deed, Investment Management Agreement etc.
• Drafting of Non-Disclosure Agreements,Distribution Agreement, Engagement Letters etc.
• Drafting and negotiation of debenture issue documentation with the lssuers on the investments by the alternative investment funds.
• Must have made AIF applications required under SEBI AIF Regulations.
• Ability to conduct research over MCA portal and Companies Act for filing of charge/charge creation etc.
• Should keep abreast with the latest legal and regulatory changes/ requirements and adhere to such requirements.

Eligibility

• Be a qualified lawyer with 2-4 years of experience working in a law firm or with a legal department of asset management company and alternative investment fund sector.
• Prior experience under legal team of fund management company and alternative investment funds or working as a part of a lawfirm with its asset management/funds practice will be preferred.
• Working knowledge of Alternative Investment Funds.
• Understanding of credit products, loans and debentures.
• Good research skills and skills in dealing with external advisors/service providers.
• Possess good oral, written communication.

Salary/Stipend
