Details of the Job/Internship

WebEngage is looking for candidate for the position of Legal Associate 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and NDAs
• Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters, , trademarks, and copyrights
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws from global perspective
• Handle disputes, litigation, and arbitration related to commercial and contractual matters
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, sales, and marketing, to provide legal support and guidance
• Stay updated on legal trends, industry standards, and emerging regulations impacting the SaaS industry

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized universit
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, with a focus on SaaS, technology, or related sector
• Strong knowledge of contract law, intellectual property law, corporate law, and contract negotiatio
• Experience with managing intellectual property portfolio
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skill
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detai
• Proficiency in legal research and staying updated with legal development.

Salary/Stipend
