Details of the Job/Internship
Whatfix is hiring Legal Counsels with 2–8 years of experience in commercial contracts to join its growing legal team at Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, SaaS agreements, DPAs, vendor and partner contracts.
- Coordinate with internal teams like Sales, Procurement, and Security for contract alignment.
- Use and maintain CLM tools for contract lifecycle management.
- Identify and mitigate legal and business risks.
- Draft legal notices and standardize documentation.
- Maintain legal templates, clause libraries, and negotiation playbooks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal obligations.
- Stay updated on applicable global laws, especially data privacy and SaaS-specific regulations.
Eligibility
- LLB degree required.
- 2–8 years of legal or contract management experience (preferably in SaaS, IT, or technology sectors).
- Experience in IT/software/SaaS contracts and global contracting.
- Willingness to work across time zones and support multiple regions globally.
