Details of the Job/Internship

WovV Technologies is hiring a Legal Associate with 2–6 years of experience to join their team. The role involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, supporting business teams, and advising on IT laws, intellectual property, and compliance matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise and support business teams in reviewing, negotiating, and closing contracts.
• Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors, ensuring compliance with internal requirements and risk management.
• Manage vendor contracts globally, including MSA, SLA, SaaS, consulting, data privacy agreements, NDAs, and SOWs.
• Collaborate with external legal counsels on specific matters.
• Identify and escalate key risks during negotiations.
• Create and maintain template agreements and refine contract processes.
• Advise on intellectual property, technology-related legal issues, and compliance with data protection and privacy laws.
• Review client deal documents in line with company policies.
• Draft employment agreements, confidentiality clauses, and NDAs.
• Lead trademark, patent, and IPR registrations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• 2–4 years of experience for Legal Associate; 4–6 years for Assistant Manager–Legal.
• SaaS and IT contracting experience preferred.
• Prior in-house counsel experience in an IT company is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Salary/Stipend
