Their firm has been an advisor for the issue IPO which got listed at NSE and BSE stock exchanges, assisting companies through IPO processes and ensuring seamless legal compliance for about 10 companies.
Details of the Job/Internship
They are looking for a skilled Junior Associate with hands-on experience in court-related work and legal drafting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions, Memorandums of Understanding, Writ Petitions, and litigation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize M&A agreements, MoUs, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Prepare and file Writ Petitions in High Courts and judicial forums.
- Represent clients effectively in DRT and DRAT court proceedings.
- Research legal precedents, case laws, and statutes to develop robust legal solutions.
- Provide well-researched legal opinions to clients on various legal queries and concerns.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of applications, affidavits, and appeals.
- Liasoning with the companies and preparing the legal report as per SEBI compliance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- 1-2 years of experience in legal drafting and court appearances.
- Proficiency in M&A agreements, MoUs, Writ Petitions, and DRT/DRAT procedures.
- Excellent legal drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal tools, MS Office.
