Details of the Job/Internship
YES BANK is hiring a Legal Associate to support documentation, legal research, litigation management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and reviewing standard contracts, loan agreements, NDAs, and vendor or service provider agreements.
- Maintain and update legal document repositories and templates.
- Conduct legal research on banking laws, RBI circulars, regulations, and case laws.
- Provide preliminary legal opinions and notes under the supervision of senior counsel.
- Track and maintain a database of ongoing litigation and legal notices.
- Coordinate with external counsel and assist in preparing briefs, filings, and responses.
- Support compliance with RBI guidelines, the Companies Act, the Contract Act, and other applicable statutes.
- Assist in preparing legal and compliance-related reports for internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with business, operations, HR, and risk teams for legal support.
- Liaise with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and statutory authorities as required.
