Details of the Job/Internship
YES BANK is hiring a Legal Associate with relevant experience to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review standard contracts, loan agreements, NDAs, and vendor/service provider agreements.
- Maintain updated legal document templates and repositories.
- Conduct legal research on banking laws, RBI circulars, regulations, and case laws.
- Prepare preliminary legal notes and opinions under senior supervision.
- Track ongoing litigation, legal notices, and maintain related databases.
- Coordinate with external counsel and assist in preparing briefs, filings, and responses.
- Assist in compliance with RBI guidelines, Companies Act, Contract Act and other statutes.
- Support preparation of legal and compliance reports for internal teams.
- Work closely with business, operations, HR, and risk teams for legal support.
- Liaise with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and statutory authorities.
Eligibility
Law degree with relevant experience in legal drafting, research, and compliance.
