Details of the Job/Internship

Yogayatan Group is hiring a Legal Associate with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their Mumbai office. This is a full-time role, and legal retainership or personal practice is not permitted. The role involves handling litigation, arbitration, and legal matters relating to real estate and allied sectors, including representation before courts and interaction with external stakeholders and authorities.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents including contracts, notices, affidavits, MOUs, agreements, deeds, declarations, and powers of attorney.
• Represent the company and attend hearings before various courts.
• Liaise with external lawyers and counsels.
• Visit government authorities as required.
• Monitor and handle litigations under various laws.
• Execute tasks as directed by management and senior-level employees.
• Provide legal support to business functions and projects.
• Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and policies relating to business projects.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Willingness to travel within and outside Mumbai.
• Experience in legal and arbitration matters relating to real estate, including land, property, plots, ports, and shipping, is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with a solicitor firm.
• Experience attending City Civil Court and High Court matters.
• Strong command of English and Marathi, both written and verbal.
• Ability to independently interact with external stakeholders.
• Very strong MS Office and computer skills.
• Ability to follow schedules, multitask, and work within timelines.

Salary/Stipend
