Details of the Job/Internship
Zensar Technologies is hiring for its Legal department in Pune, seeking a professional with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
Role and Responsibilities
- Employment & Labor Law: Manage employee contracts, ensure compliance with labor statutes, and standardize service terms based on market trends.
- Disciplinary Oversight: Handle legal issues arising from misconduct, disciplinary actions, and breaches of employee agreements.
- Litigation Management: Oversee litigation cases, specifically those related to labor disputes and employment-related grievances.
- Commercial Contracting: Draft and negotiate customer contracts, vendor agreements, and partnership/reseller agreements within the IT services framework.
- Data Privacy: Manage Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and ensure alignment with the latest Indian and global privacy legislations.
- Stakeholder Advisory: Provide legal guidance on the applicability of labor laws across different business units.
- Process Excellence: Utilize MS Office tools to maintain high-quality legal drafting and record-keeping for the RPG Group.
Eligibility
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of PQE, with at least 2–3 years specifically in the IT Industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indian employment laws and the latest Data Privacy legislation (DPDP Act).
- Skills: Excellent legal drafting and communication skills; high proficiency in MS Word and working knowledge of Excel/PowerPoint.
- Behavioral: Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced global corporate environment.
