Details of the Job/Internship

Zluri is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with 1-2 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including partnership agreements, SLAs, NDAs, licensing agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Oversee the review and management of Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and complete security questionnaires as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance) to ensure contract terms align with business objectives.

2. Legal Support and Advisory:

• Provide legal guidance on contract terms, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Identify potential legal risks during contract negotiations and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, industry regulations, and best practices, particularly in the SaaS and technology sectors.

3. Contract Administration:

• Maintain contract templates, track contract renewals, and manage contract databases.
• Ensure accurate and organized record-keeping of legal documents and agreements.

4. Legal Research and Analysis:

• Conduct legal research on emerging regulations and industry standards.
• Assist in developing legal strategies to address contractual and regulatory challenges.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with business units to ensure consistent application of contract terms and risk mitigation strategies.
• Support other legal matters as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Eligibility

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); LL.M is a plus.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Legal Associate or similar role, with a focus on contract drafting and negotiation.
• Preferred Background: Experience in the SaaS or tech-driven organizations is highly desirable.
