Details of the Job/Internship

WAYCA Advisors LLP is hiring Legal Associates to join their office in Gurugram. The role involves supporting corporate advisory, transaction execution, compliance management, and legal documentation. It offers exposure to commercial legal matters within a professional services environment and requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet commercial agreements, including employment contracts, vendor agreements, shareholder agreements, and LLP documentation.
• Support legal and financial due diligence for transactions such as private placements, investments, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist with corporate compliance under the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other applicable laws.
• Conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal opinions, memoranda, and briefing notes.
• Support the incorporation of companies and LLPs and maintain statutory records.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, regulators, and external counsel as required.
• Assist in preparing board documentation, governance materials, and regulatory filings.

Eligibility

Required:

• LL.B. from a recognised university.
• Strong drafting and legal research skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

• Internship or professional experience in corporate law firms or PCS firms.
• Exposure to due diligence, fund documentation, securities law, or capital markets.
• Familiarity with labour laws and corporate compliance frameworks.
• Company Secretary qualification (completed or in progress).

Salary/Stipend
