Details of the Job/Internship
Orient Law Firm is hiring an Associate/Senior Associate with 5–6 years of experience to join its General Corporate team in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review commercial contracts across sectors like IT, healthcare, infrastructure, and real estate.
- Draft legal notices, replies, civil suits, arbitration claims, and criminal complaints (preferred but not mandatory).
- Conduct legal research and provide opinions.
- Appear before courts, tribunals, and statutory authorities as required.
- Handle M&A transactions including drafting and negotiating agreements.
- Conduct real estate due diligence and draft conveyancing documents.
- Draft and review high-value commercial agreements (supply, vendor, licensing, technology, etc.).
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India with a valid Certificate of Practice.
- 5–6 years of work experience; at least 3 years in corporate advisory and transactions.
- Prior litigation experience.
- Strong communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
