Details of the Job/Internship

Orient Law Firm is hiring an Associate/Senior Associate with 5–6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate transactions and litigation to join their Hyderabad office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review commercial contracts across sectors such as IT, healthcare, infrastructure, and real estate.
• Draft legal notices and replies; drafting litigation-related documents such as civil suits, arbitration claims, and criminal complaints is preferred.
• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions.
• Appear before courts, tribunals, and statutory bodies as required.
• Handle M&A transactions including drafting of share/asset purchase agreements, JV and investment agreements.
• Conduct real estate due diligence and draft related agreements including sale deeds and lease deeds.
• Draft and review high-value commercial agreements including supply, distribution, licensing, and vendor contracts.

Eligibility

• LL.B. graduate from a recognized university.
• Enrolled with the Bar Council of India with a valid Certificate of Practice.
• Minimum 5–6 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in corporate advisory and transactions.
• Prior experience in litigation.
• Strong knowledge of corporate laws, commercial contracts, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend

INR 6,00,000 per annum
