Details of the Job/Internship

NxtWave is hiring a Legal Associate / Senior Legal Associate with 1–2 years of relevant experience to join their Hyderabad office in a full-time role. The selected candidate will work closely with the legal team on contract management, compliance, corporate governance, and risk mitigation to ensure operations align with applicable laws and regulations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs and reports.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Handle filings with regulatory authorities, statutory registers, and corporate records.
• Support in corporate governance, including board resolutions, meeting minutes, and regulatory submissions.
• Identify potential legal and regulatory risks and assist in implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure legal considerations are incorporated into operations.
• Provide general legal and compliance support to the team.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
• 1+ years of in-house experience for Legal Associate and 2+ years for Senior Legal Associate.
• Strong understanding of legal principles, particularly in contract law and compliance.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
